Rule Number: 1

مندرجہ ذیل

  کے بعد ہمیشہ فعل کی پہلی فارم استعمال ہوتی ہے۔ یہ اصول انگریزی زبان مین ناقابل تغیر اور اٹل ہیں۔( Helping Verb )

Helping Verbs

Can, May, Will, Shall, Could, Might, Would, Should.

Examples:

  • I can lift this table.
  • I may go to Lahore tomorrow.
  • He might go to Lahore tomorrow.
  • I should do my duty honestly.

کے بعد اگر فعل لگانا ہو تو اس کی پہلی فارم لگائیں۔ یہ اصول بھی اٹل اور ناقابل تگیر ہے۔ Letاور To

(2)    I intend to passed F.A this year. I intend to pass F.A this year.

Rule Number: 3

اگر کسی فقرے کے پہلے حصے

(Principal Clause)

 میں

Past tense

آئے تو دوسرے حصے میں

(Subordinate Clause)

میں ہمیشہ

Past Tense

کی کوئی شکل آتی ہے۔ البتہ آفاقی سچائی کے حامل جملوں میں

Present Tense

آتا ہے۔

He said that he is ill. He said that he was ill.
The teacher told the boys that he may go to Lahore. The teacher told the boys that he might go to Lahore.
He said that the earth was round. He said that the earth is round.

کسی سنگل فقرے میں

کے ساتھ تیسری فارم استعمال کرکے

Past Perfect

مت بنائیں۔ البتہ اگر ایسے فقروں میں کوئی

یا

لگا ہو تو ہم

کے ساتھ تیسری فارم لگاسکتے ہیں۔

اگر کسی فقرے میں

Helping Verbs

 دو یا تین الفاظ پر مشتمل ہوں تو اس کا منفی بنانے کیلئے پہلے لفظ کے بعد

لگائیں اور سوالیہ فقرہ بناتے وقت بھی پہلا لفظ فاعل سے پہلے لگائیں۔ دو الفاظ یا زیادہ پر مشتمل

Rule Number: 6

انگریزی زبان میں

Will has, Shall has

اور

Can has been, will has been, shall has been, may has been

وغیرہ الفاظ کا وجود نہیں۔ تمام فاعلوں کے ساتھ

Will have been, May have been, Shall have been

وغیرہ لگائیں۔

یاد رکھیں انگریزی زبان میں منفی فقرہ بناتے وقت

کے پہلے لفظ کے بعد

لگاتے ہیں اور سوالیہ فقرہ بناتے وقت

کے پہلے لفظ کو فاعل سے پہلے لکھتے ہیں۔

انگریزی زبان میں کسی فقرے میں دو

Future Tense

نہیں لگائے جاتے۔ اگر ایسا ہو تو فقرہ گلط تصور ہوگا۔ البتہ اردو زبان میں ہے۔ انگریزی زبان میں مستقبل کے دو زمانوں کو ظاہر کرنے کیلئے پہلے حصے میں

Present Simple

یا سادہ

Present

لگائیں۔

اور دوسرے حصے میں

Future Tense

ہی رہنے دیں۔

اگر تم محنت کرو گے تو تم پاس ہوجاؤ گے۔ ( اردو میں یہ فقرہ درست ہے )

For Example:

  • If you will work hard, you will pass. ( Incorrect )
  • If you work hard, you will pass. ( Correct )

Rule Number: 8

Unless, Until

کے فوراً بعد

Not

نہیں لگاتے۔

For Example:

  • Unless he does not work hard, he cannot pass the examination. (Incorrect)
  • Unless he works hard, he cannot pass the examination. (Correct)

 

Rule Number: 9

  کے بعد ہمیشہ فعل (گویا کہ جیسا کہ) As though (گویا کہ) As if

Were

لگائیں یا فعل ماضی کی کوئی شکل۔

   لگانا غلط ہے۔ (Is, am, are) کے بعد As if یا  As Though

It looks as if he eats stale bread. It looks as if he ate stale bread.
It looks as if he ate stale bread yesterday. It looks as if he had taken stale bread yesterday.

 

Rule Number: 10

مندرجہ ذیل لفظوں کو جب فعل کے طور پر استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ تو ان کے ساتھ کوئی

استعمال نہیں کرتے۔
