The Editor,

Subject: Bad Conditions of Roads

Sir,

Kindly publish these lines in your newspaper about the bad condition of the roads in the city. The Municipal Corporation of the city is at fault. There are many roads in the city. Some of them do not exist at all. They have been washed away in the recent rains. There are some other roads that are in bad shape. There are many ditches and cavities in them. Sargodha Road is a special case in point. This road lines in the heart of the city. The biggest hospital in the city is situated on it.

But unfortunately, this road has never been repaired. Water stands on it. Its surface is quite uneven. The sick people receive jolts and jerks when they travel on it. It has been reported in the press that an old man suffering from a heart attack, died on the way. He received many jerks and breathed his last in the long run. There are other roads that need immediate repair. The circular road does not exist at all. It is an apology for a road. Repair of the road started ten years ago, but it was discontinued for unknown reasons.

In the rainy season, these roads are submerged in water. The traffic becomes impossible. I want to draw the attention of the authorities, through the newspaper to repair these ill-conditioned roads as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

X.Y.Z.
