Definition of Adjective
کہلاتا ہے۔ Adjective کی تعریف کرے یا اس کے بارے میں مزید کچھ بتائے pronoun یا noun ایسا لفظ جو
Examples:
- This is a bag.
یہ ایک عام سا جملہ ہے کہ ” یہ ایک بیگ ہے”۔ اگر اس میں ایک لفظ
سے پہلے کر دیا جائے تو یہ جملہ کچھ یوں ہو جائے گا bag کا اضافہ “red”
- This is a red bag.
ہے کے بارے میں مزید بتایا کہ بیگ لال ہے۔ noun جو ایک bag نے ہمیں red اس اضافی لفظ
ہے adjective ایڈجیکٹو red یہ لفظ

کہلاتے ہیں Quality Adjective بتائیں quality جو کسی شخص یا چیز کی خوبی adjective ایسے

- This glass is breakable.
- They live in a beautiful house.
- He writes meaningful stories.

کہلاتے ہیں ،Quantity Adjectives کی مقدار بتائیں noun جو Adjectives
:جیسے
whole, little, enough, some, sufficient, any, few, most, half, much, abundant, huge, single, double, numerous, light,
Examples:
- She eats a whole apple daily.
- I ate some rice today.
- He has only a little knowledge about this project.
- He cannot spend his all money over you.
- There is no milk in the glass.

Number Adjectives
کہلاتے ہیں۔ Number Adjective کی تعداد بتائیں،noun جو Adjectives
میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔ Number Adjective کی پوزیشن جیسے پہلی، دوسری ، تیسری وغیرہ وغیرہ کا بھی Noun
Examples:
- The police unit contained 100 policemen.
- The cricket team scored 140 runs in the first innings.
- Fatima stood first in the class.

Demonstrative Adjectives
کہتے ہیں, Demonstrative Adjective کو adjectives کسی شخص یا چیز کی طرف اشارہ کرنے والے
:جیسے
- this, that, these, those
Examples:
- Give me that blue water bottle.
- This time I won’t allow you.
- These mangoes are fresh.

کہتے ہیں ،Interrogative Adjectives کو adjectives سوالیہ
:جیسے
- which, whose, what
سے پہلے استعمال ہوتے ہیں noun بھی adjective
Examples:
- Which shirt should I wear today?
- What language do they speak?
- Whose copies are lying on the table?

سے پہلے لگتے ہیں noun ملکیت ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔ یہ بھی متعلقہ Possessive adjectives
